Services

Physiotherapy is increasingly popular and the benefits can be seen in a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Advancements in modern day veterinary interventions mean that treatments are becoming more and more complex. As a result, it is increasingly common for animals to require rehabilitation to optimise recovery and achieve better long-term outcomes than surgery / medical management alone. “Many many thanks for taking care of Maisie over the past few months. After many visits to the vet and not much progress, we were referred to you and what a difference that made.

Just two visits and Maisie was back on her own 4 feet after being unable to walk by herself for some time. Subsequent treatment by yourself has given us back the dog we used to know.

She is now fit and well but we always have the knowledge that you are not too far away should she hurt herself again. Our heartfelt thanks. Kind regards,”

“Wini (my cat) was unfortunately hit by a car and had to have a hip operation. She was stuck on cage rest for approx 8 weeks in our room away from our other cats and had a really noticeable limp due to the muscle wastage and scarring on the muscle.

Karen fought long and hard with the sharp nailed so and so who wouldn’t do anything we tried and preferred lounging on the bed away from us all. None the less Karen found a way to get her to do what we wanted and the results are amazing!

The limp is basically non existent (one leg is shorter than the other now so there will always be one) and she is fighting off our other two cats and jumping on the sides again like nothing has happened. Karen’s is a fantastic lady who understands our pain when animals need physio and I will definitely be using her again if Wini has further issues as she gets older.

THANK YOU SO MUCH KAREN :-)”

“I can’t rate Karen’s service highly enough. She’s been a massive support to both myself and my 11yo dog Daisy since starting weekly physio sessions this year. At the beginning of last year Daisy had Lumbar Sacral Disc Disease operated on, and is now in the latter stages of battling an infection on her spine since the op.

I contacted Karen in the hopes of further supporting Daisy’s recovery at home. Karen quickly got a referral in place from the specialists dealing with Daisy and got us an appointment with in a week of me contacting her. Physio has had a really positive impact on Daisy — It has helped in starting to strengthen her core so that she can support her back properly, and has highlighted other issues (secondary to her spinal condition) that we knew nothing about, which means we have been able to support Daisy even more so!

We have only had Daisy 2 years, in that short space of time she has been through so much; so to see her starting to progress with Karen makes it all so worth it! She has a long road ahead of her, but with Karen’s help and much appreciated guidance I know Daisy is in the very best hands.

Thank you Karen! xx”
